Special thanks to Poppoff Construction for investing in the next generation of builders by supporting hands-on learning for Perry Technical Institute’s Construction & Carpentry Technology students.
Their team helped students gain real-world experience with concrete work, including the chance to get some stick time on power trowels. That kind of practical, jobsite-style learning is exactly what helps students build confidence, sharpen skills, and see a future for themselves in the construction industry.
Perry Technical Institute’s 1-year Construction & Carpentry Technology program prepares students with foundational skills in layouts, blueprints, framing, tool use, safety, concrete, finishing, drywall concepts, power tools, site surveying, scaffolding, and professional development.
