Apply for the 2027 NAHB Green Building Scholarship

Apply by October 23, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PDT for NAHB’s Sustainability and Green Building Scholarship to attend the 2027 International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.

One recipient will receive $1,300 for travel expenses and full IBS registration. The experience includes networking events, educational sessions, Continuing Education Unit opportunities, access to the expo floor, green building tours, and exposure to the latest high-performance building products and practices.

The recipient will also receive complimentary access to Home Innovation Research Labs’ NGBS Green PRO designation course, valued at approximately $450.

Applicants must:

• Be between 25 and 35 years old as of January 1, 2027
• Be a young professional and/or emerging green builder
• Be both a U.S. resident and U.S. citizen
• Work or study in a relevant field, including construction management, skilled trades, environmental science, business administration, sustainability, architecture, engineering, energy management, renewable energy, interior design, or materials science
• Submit the online application and a resume or CV

The selected recipient must attend at least one educational session each day, help promote the show through social media, attend designated NAHB subcommittee meetings, complete a post-show survey, and submit a blog of no more than 500 words about their green building experiences at IBS.
